A rare, round Erie Railroad cast bronze number plate from number 2547 a K-1 4-6-2 pacific passenger engine built by Rogers Locomotive Works in 1906. This stunning plate features individually applied bronze numbers and appears to retain its original patina and paint. The back of the plate shows three threaded bosses for mounting to smokebox door on locomotive. Locomotive hardware from the Erie Railroad is extremely rare; round number plates are nearly impossible to find.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
