An early loose globe frame wanting a skinny globe. The cage assembly slides over the globe and secures to the flanged base via a clasp. The chimney and base vent filigree hint toward Taylor Mfg Co., but there are no hallmarks on the frame. The fount plugs into a fixed base and has a No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. The frame retains a nice, age-earned patina with no apparent issues.
