An A&W "ADAMS" No. 6, fixed base, double guard, 1909 pat., bellbottom lantern with correct insert fount and No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. "N.Y.O & W. Ry." is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The frame shows some original patina and tin plating, and is straight and tight. The signal green, No. 6, extended base globe is a real beauty, showing little sign of RR use. "N Y O & W " is nicely embossed in serif font in above average relief. Color translucence is real nice.
