A C T Ham No. 39 (hallmarked on base underside), double guard, brass bellbottom railroad lantern with correct bayonet base and No. 1 ratchet burner. The lantern shows a dirty, lightly tarnished patina. The bayonet retaining spring on the base collar is sprung, and the keeper is missing. The split green/clear, hand blown globe has a 1870s-style, four axle, seven window passenger coach engraved in. The coach shows a letter board that reads "WELLS HARRIS." The globe is flawless.
Condition: (Excellent).
