A C T Ham No. 39, double guard, bellbottom railroad lantern with correct bayonet base and No. 1 ratchet burner. "ERIE RR" is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The lantern retains original patina. While ERIE bellbottom Ham lanterns do exist, this one shows a sloppy solder job in the hinge area and may be a lid swap. Patina is a decent match top to bottom. There is some minor denting on the base. The Corning-style, No. 39 globe is a beautiful medium AMBER and is nicely embossed "E R R Co," showing little evidence of RR use. Color translucence is real nice. It's a beautiful globe.
