A brass, two-piece early wall sconce made by the Loeffelholz Company of Milwaukee, hallmarked on the underside of the oil fount. The bottom piece has an ornate bronze cast wall bracket and is identical to the top piece, which holds a chimney. The unit has been disassembled for safety. The globe is a large clear globe made for an ERIE wall sconce. The globe is nicely embossed "ERIE. R. R. Co." in block font and in average relief. This is NOT a hand lantern globe. The globe shows little sign of RR use. Someone has attempted to plaster the globe in, but that is not appropriate for this unit. The unit is currently mounted on a two-piece tongue-and-groove oak backboard.

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Lantern: 8 - 3/4" x 7 - 3/4" x 18 - 1/2".
