An 18s, 17j serial no. 12102487, Model 1883, made by The American Waltham Watch Co. around 1903. Pocket Watch Database indicates that this watch is not regarded as a RR grade PW despite 17j movement (??). This beauty features a full plate movement housed in a real nice FORTUNE case, highly engraved; serial no. 439382. Engraved on the back of the case is "JESSE D. CUMMINGS FATHER 1917 - 1943 NORTHERN PACIFIC RY, with the NP MONAD LOGO." The porcelain dial is slightly sunk for the seconds bit. The dial appears to be free of hairlines and features Roman numerals at the chapters 1 - 12, and a secondary Arabic numeral at each chapter to complete the 24-hour dial. The blued, spade hands retain good luster. The crystal shows significant yellowing. This watch was wound three turns and is not working. This watch was well-used and the case shows quite a bit of brassing.

Condition: (Good).

Item Dimensions: Case: 2" Dia.
POCKET WATCH.
