A beautiful cast iron round number plate from I1s-class "4268." This locomotive was built in 1923 by Baldwin Locomotive Works, construction no. 56666; rebuilt as I1sa in August, 1934, and retired in October, 1959. The plate shows old black field paint with yellow border and numerals. Back of plate has much rust and old paint with casting nos. "201445" and "X10010" embossed. There are three stud mounting positions as expected, studs were ground off to the depth of the outer rim, then holes drilled in the 3 stud positions for display mounting.
