A beautiful cast iron round number plate from I1s-class "4249." This locomotive was built in 1923 by Baldwin Locomotive Works, construction no. 56647; rebuilt as I1sa in May, 1943, and retired in August, 1957. The plate shows older black field paint with yellow border and numerals. Back of plate has newer black paint and "201445" and "X10010" embossed. There are three stud mounting positions as expected, with evidence that the plate was torch-burned off of the smoke box door at the scrapping venue.

Condition: (6.0).

Item Dimensions: 16 - 3/4" Dia.
