A brass-top 6" double-guard lantern frame made by the Railroad Lamp & Lantern Company. The frame is not RR marked. There is a plug-in brass fount -not correct for this model - that is missing a No. 1 burner. The red flashed globe is a classic New England barrel, nicely embossed "O C R R" in serif font with average relief. The globe shows little sign of railroad use. The frame shows an old patina with very little light surface rust.
