A No. 39 "iron clad" double-guard bellbottom model made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Co. "N. Y. O. & W. Ry" is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The bayonet base is correct for this model and has a No. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The base looks to have much of its original tin plating, but the rest of the frame has light pitting and surface etching. The clear No. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "N Y O & W Ry." There is a 1" crack behind the left seam, which is not seen on display; otherwise, the globe shows little RR use.
Condition: (Good).
