An single guard, "Iron Clad" no. 39 model made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Co. in Syracuse. "WEST SHORE" is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The bayonet base appears to be an A&W mismatch, but it's not hallmarked. The fount cap and no. 1 ratchet burner appear to be a new replacements. The unit is covered in some kind of black residue imitating patina. The globe is a beautiful flashed red, no. 39 example and is heavily embossed "WSRR" in serif font. The globe shows normal rim flakes from RR use.
