A plated pewter cast trumpet with ornate engraving. Engraved "WON AT CLAPP'S BAND FAIR BY CAPTAIN OF HOSE NO. 1 SEPT. 17 1899." Horn has fluted bell and shows old steam fire pumper, ladders, incised in ornate floral scrollwork. The bell has 9 - 1/2" diameter opening. The unit shows tarnish and the mouthpiece is missing. There is an old maroon, original, braided and tasseled sash cord affixed. There is a copper-painted, upholstered display pedestal with twisted center shaft detail included with this lot.
Condition: (Good).
