A cast iron ALCo plate for the Chesapeake & Ohio, ALCO model RSD-5, diesel locomotive number 5570. Original dirty yellow paint. This locomotive was the first of its class built. Construction #79427, built March 1952. Small ALCO “flying gear” and GE emblems in the lower-left and right corners of the plate. Back of plate shows pitting and rust, with some scaling.
