A cast iron ALCo plate for the New York, New Haven and Hartford (New Haven) ALCO model PA-1, locomotive number 0782, construction number 76324, built March 1949. Small ALCO “flying gear” and GE emblems in the lower-left and right corners of the plate. Plate shows old green-painted field with yellow lettering and border, mostly gone. Back of plate shows pitting and old, tight oxidation.
