Circa 2013. A beautiful game gun with nitro proofed 29" blued barrels. Barrels built with ejectors and 2 - 3/4" chambers. The rib reads "HARTMANN & WEISS - HAMBURG". Rib with round brass front bead sight and floral engraving at breech. Barrel flats with proof marks, "16/70", "2471", "10" and "13". Chokes are Modified on left and Improved Cylinder on right. Case colored sidelock action with case hardened double triggers, gold cocking indicators, gas escapes, and disk set strikers. "HARTMANN & WEISS" in gold at bar. Action is nicely engraved with scrolls and flower bouquets. Top lever is also hardened and scroll engraved. Triggers are protected by a right-hand rolled-edge trigger guard that extends to a full length bottom strap and reads "2471" in gold. Trigger plate is engraved with engraver's name "F. GULLERT". Gun is non-auto safe and has "SAFE" in gold. The handsome and smoky-grained walnut stock with oil finish has been built with a finely checkered English straight-hand grip with drop points to a checkered butt. The matched checkered splinter forend is fit with an Anson-style push button release. Forend metal is case hardened and scroll engraved. This beautiful gun lives in a lightweight leather toe under case with black and gold "Hartmann & Weiss" leather trade label, snap caps, square oil bottle and spare checkered walnut butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain mostly all of their original color with minor (superficial) handling marks. Action, triggers, and ejectors are all sound. Stock and forend with minor handling marks. Case is very good with light handling marks. Excellent gun!
