Circa 2003. Lovely game gun with 27" Italian nitro proofed chopper lump blacked barrels. Barrels with ejectors and 2 - 3/4" chambers, narrow smooth, concave tapering rib with small steel round front bead sight. Right barrel reads "FLLI BERTUZZI - ITALY". Barrel flats with Italian proofs, "6003", "ARMI BERTUZZI" and "BT". Bottom of barrels stamped "CAM. 70", "15.8", "KG1.110", "15.8", and with importer marking. Chokes are Improved Modified on left and Modified on right. Brushed coin finished sidelock action with games scenes, set disk strikers, engraved and checkered top lever, filed safe slide, and "S" is in gold. Action also with double triggers, front articulated. Gun is non-auto safe. Left lock is engraved with a brace of woodcock flying through woods. Right lock with a cock pheasant taking off and 3 females, all in grassy field. Bottom action with hunting dog retrieving a grouse from wood. Left and right bars engraved "FLLI BERTUZZI" in banner. Trigger plate signed by S. Muffolini Inc. and bottom of action signed Torcoli Inc. Trigger guard with right hand rolled edge extending to a full-length bottom strap with matching scroll and serial number in banner. Handsome orange brown shiny stock with smoky streaks has been built with drop points, a finely checkered straight hand grip, and finished with a checkered butt stock with lightly scroll engraved toe and heel plates. Slender splinter forend with matched checkering and grain has been built with an Anson push button release, Bertuzzi gold logo inlay, and scroll engraved escutcheon and exterior metal. Interior metal engraved "03". Gun is housed by an oak and leather maker's case with cleaning rod, snap caps cleaning accessories and oil bottle. Case lid with black and gold "ARMI FLLI BERTUZZI" case label. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain mostly all of their color. Bores are bright. Action, triggers and ejectors are excellent. Stock and forend are excellent. Very nice gun!
