Made by Hunter Arms Company in 1941. 1 of 2509 Field Grades made in .410 and one of 521 made with ejectors. Blued 26" fluid steel barrels with raised high matted rib, Field grade and Hunter Company markings, ejectors, and bead front sight. Barrels are choked Improved Modified and Modified with 3" chambers. Case hardened finish featherweight sidelock action with L.C. Smith markings with automatic safety, double triggers, and blued trigger guard. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and matching checkered splinter forearm with roller latch release. CONDITION: Overall 90% original factory barrel finish with areas worn to plum brown from handling. 80% vivid case colors with sharp markings. Good wood with its original finish cleaned off and some scrapes and scratches from usage. Good mechanics with tight lock up and a lever way to right. Mirror bores and phenomenal screws. A very desirable shotgun.
