CSMC made A.H. Fox FE Grade shotgun made circa 2000. This fine shotgun features 28" blued fluid steel factory barrels with "Krupp Fluid Steel" rib roll die mark on left barrel and "Made to Order by A.H. Fox" on right barrel. Fit with ejectors and bead sights with floral breech engraving and signature FE Grade gold "lightning bolt" breech inlays. Barrels are choked Modified and Improved Cylinder, chambers measure 2 - 3/4". Case hardened "FE" marked boxlock action with standard FE grade full coverage floral engraving with gold pointing dogs on side panels, gold quail on bottom with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in gold. Gold diamond hinge pin inlays with automatic safety and factory gold plated single selective trigger. Blued floral engraved trigger guard with gold pointing dog and serial number in gold. Border checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with Fleur De Lis pattern checkered side panels, Parker style skeleton floral engraved steel buttplate, gold oval vanity plate with original owner's initials, and matching factory checkered beavertail forearm with latch release. Comes in custom maker's label fitted leather-covered case with canvas dust cover. CONDITION: Overall 98% original barrel finish with insignificant handling mark, barrels have slight case wear. 98% vivid case colors with sharp markings. Good wood with 98% original finish with small handling marks and sharp checkering. Good mechanics with tight lock up. Mirror bores, possibly unfired since factory. Case in excellent condition. A very eye-catching shotgun with spectacular specifications.
