Originally made by Parker Gun Company in 1905. According to Parker Serialization Book there is no information on this gun. The AAHE Grade was at the time the highest-grade Parker available; this gun is one of 238 made and one of 35 in 12 gauge with 32" barrels. It should be noted this gun has striking similarities to an A-1 Special, which was developed around the same time (was this a model for future guns?). Gun was professionally restored by unknown gunsmith with lots of similarities to Del Grego work. Blued 32" Sir Joseph Whitworth fluid steel barrels with "Whitworth Steel" rib roll die mark on Parker addressed matted rib with "Pigeon Gun" marking, engine turned barrel flats, ejectors, bead front sight, and deep floral breech engraving. Barrels are choked Improved Modified and Modified with 2 - 3/4" chambers. Case hardened finish No. 2 boxlock action with full coverage deep chiseled floral engraved frame, non-automatic safety, and factory gold plated double triggers with blued floral engraved trigger guard with serial number. Floral border checkered Circassian walnut pistol grip stock with checkered side panels and carved panel borders in A style with carved fleur-de-lis tails, factory skeleton steel buttplate, gold center hard rubber pistol grip cap with "E.I. Noble/Austin Texas" marking (possibly replaced by another owner since it does not match owner in letter) and matching checkered splinter forearm with latch release. PGCA letter confirms shipment as an AAHE pigeon gun with ejectors in 12 gauge, 32" Whitworth steel barrels, pistol grip stock, 14 - 1/8" LOP, 1 -5/8" drop at comb, and 2 - 5/8" at heel. Weight was 7 lbs 10 oz, and RH 260 LH 280 chokes. Further special requests were a non-automatic safety, trigger twisted for a left-handed shooter, and shield engraved "E.J. Nalle, Austin, Texas"; Du Bray placed the order. CONDITION: Overall, 98% as restored barrel finish with insignificant handling marks. 98% as restored vivid case colors with sharp markings. Good wood with 98% as restored finish with small handling marks and sharp checkering. Good mechanics with tight lock up and lever way to the right with fantastic screws. Mirror bores. A very eye-catching shotgun and very hard gun to find.
