Custom bolt action rifle built by Griffin & Howe using a Mauser 98 action and chambered in .270 Winchester with blued metal finish. 22" tapered steel barrel with barrel band sling swivel and top of barrel reading "No 2041 GRIFFIN & HOWE Inc. NEWYORK". Left side of barrel has caliber marking "CAL .270". Top of front receiver band is stippled. Magazine follower, bolt body, and right top face of magazine are jeweled. Attached Griffin and Howe removable side mount with Hensoldt Dural-Dialytan 4 power scope. Front of base plate is checkered along with trigger face. Extra push safety built in rear of the trigger guard. Walnut stock features sharp hand checkering, dark horn tip, metal pistol grip cap, right-handed cheek comb, silver name plate, rear sling swivel, and black lined rubber recoil pad with evidence of leather faced at one point. Includes attached leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent condition with 98% of finish remaining. Slight crack on left side of stock under the receiver side mount. Minimal handling marks throughout. Good bore with visible rifling. Good mechanics. Slight fog in optic.
