Second of 2 consecutively numbered, as new in box, unfired since purchase Powder Springs vintage Ingram MAC 10 machine gun offered in this auction. Box is dated "Oct 20, 1972". This lot also includes an as new in box (dated Mar 1, 1973) original Military Armament Company suppressor. Both boxes retain their original factory applied "Identification Card". One original new-in-wrapper magazine, cleaning rod, and loading tool is included as well as silencer cover. Typical Cobray logo and "POWDER SPRINGS, GA" address on gun. Electronic NFA registry indicates "MILITARY ARMAMENT CORP" as the manufacturer for both the gun and the suppressor. PROVENANCE: From the estate of a very discerning and advanced collector. CONDITION: Overall appearance is as new original factory gray matte finish with anodization intact on selector switch. Bore is unfired since purchase, fine shiny and bright. Bolt face commensurate with unfired condition. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. Silencer is in commensurate unfired condition. Pretty much impossible to upgrade the condition of these investment level examples of the classic 1970s machine gun and silencer. THIS LOT INCLUDES TWO NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THESE ITEMS ARE FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON TWO SEPARATE TRANSFER ATF FORMS 3 OR 4. JWK 2023-12-71
