Exceptionally high-quality American-made Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun with “U” prefix serial number. Once the initial “T” prefix guns were manufactured, the factory produced guns which had a “U” prefix serial number for the civilian and law enforcement market. These guns exhibit the highest standards of fit and finish as to be expected from this maker. This is a select fire machine gun with an ambidextrous safety/selector, hard composite pistol gripm and a swing-out rubber covered shoulder loop. The firing characteristics are ergonomic, and this gun is both controllable and accurate. 1 36-round original magazine is included with this gun. Easily disassembled for cleaning, with good durability, and traditionally relatively inexpensive, it makes for a great entry level machine gun, and also has appeal to the more advanced machine gun enthusiast. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face also near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. Just a great, simple, fun gun to shoot at the range! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2023-12-84
