A beautiful and rare Tiffany Studios floor lamp. This lamp came from the original collection of renowned Tiffany Studios expert and author, Dr. Egon Neustadt (see notarized document). The floor base stands 60" tall and has a clawfoot pedestal, ascending to a braided column with a winged griffin riser. The patinated bronze floor base is signed to the underside foot "Tiffany Studios New York" with an illegible number. It is possible the column of this authentic Tiffany Studios base has been altered. Atop the base sits a stunning and extremely rare leaded glass orb shade with water lily motif. The shade is signed to the inside collar "Tiffany Studios New York", though it is believed more likely this is an extremely high-quality American reproduction. The 15" leaded glass shade has a background of mottled blue glass, which is decorated with a series of beautiful pink and purple water lily flowers sitting amongst a darker-streaked blue bottom, representing water. The lamp is incredibly large, standing at 76" with a shade measuring approximately 15" in diameter. An extremely rare and beautiful floor lamp. CONDITION: In excellent condition.
