The standard weapon of the Prussian cavalry in 1813-14. A very nice curved and fullered heavy blade with gray patina and scattered blemishes. Stamped with serial number "390" on top of spine. Intact leather washer. Steel hilt with stirrup-shaped hand guard and forward swept quillon. Crossguard is unit marked “R.B.T.V.2.58". Matching serial number "390" on guard. Ribbed wood grip. Sword knot at bottom of hand guard. No scabbard. CONDITION: Good.
