Constructed of die-struck sheet brass, lead filled, with a single brass arrowhead hook and clasp embedded in the lead. (C) Mexican War era 1839 pattern oval US waist belt plate. Constructed of die-struck sheet brass, lead filled, with a single lead arrowhead hook and clasp. (D) Civil War era 1839 pattern oval US waist belt plate constructed of brass, lead filled, with a brass "puppy paw" hooks and clasp. (E) Civil War era 1839 pattern oval US waist belt plate constructed of brass, lead filled, with a brass arrowhead hooks and clasp. (F) Civil War era 1839 pattern oval US cartridge box plate constructed of brass, lead filled, with a steel wire loops. All belt plates exhibit scattered blemishes with moderate patina. CONDITION: Good.
