Standard configuration with breech dated "1863" and stamped with "V / P / (eagle head)" on left side of breech along with "M.L.H.". Lock stamped "US / COLT'S PT FA MFG Co / HARTFORD CT" and dated "1863" on the tail. Bolster stamped with an eagle. Walnut stock stamped on left side with two mostly clear inspectors' cartouches. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned and now retains a mostly bright to grey patina with light pitting throughout. Action very crisp and functions well. Stock shows scattered marks from use and dents.
