This matching number revolver has the Navy N on back strap as a gun requested by the Admiralty as early as 1915 for revolvers to fill shortage of semi auto Webley's then in service with the Navy. Left side of frame has tonnage stamps with Webley date, patent and proofs with broad arrows on barrel and British proofs on cylinder. Standard octagon barrel, 6-shot, double action, black composite grips, lanyard ring, top break. Rear of cylinder has been trimmed for .45 ACP. CONDITION. Excellent. Action works correctly. Bore is bright.
