The Boer War model as first procured by the British government in 1899. Stamped Mark V on left top strap, numerous British proof marks. This example has the Webley address on top of barrel and serial number on cylinder is on back, not side. All matching numbers. Large black composite bird head grips with lanyard ring. There are no broad arrows on this gun, all pointing to it being a commercially sold gun with high polish reapplied blue finish. CONDITION. Fine action, 95% blue, excellent grips, bright bore.
