Manufactured 1918. Right side slide stamped "MODEL OF US ARMY". Blue finish, World War I features include full smooth trigger, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop & safety, flat mainspring housing with loop, diamond checkered walnut grips, bevel edge rear sight with U-notch, altered front sight, two-tone tempered magazine with high polish base and no ring. Replaced incorrect HS barrel. Slide number is matching. Colt eagle head inspector stamp very faint as frame has been restored. CONDITION: Excellent. Mainspring housing is grey patina, front strap has 40% blue turning grey, frame has 85% reapplied blue with notes to straps. Slide has 80% blue with some freckling at top. Slide and frame have overall high edge wear. Grips are excellent. High Standard barrel has bright bore.
