This is a pair of wonderful desktop smoking accessories. (A) A full figural form of a young boy with what appears to be a civil war-type hat carrying a drum, like fife and drum people in the civil war did. The open top of the drum exposes the matches. The boy's hat lifts back to expose an area for kerosene with a cigar coming out of his mouth that would have acted as the lighter. This is a great form with great casting detail and bronze. CONDITION: The form shows great aged patina to the bronze casting. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. There is a little play in the boy's hat when tilted back. (B) A cigar or cigarette lighter desktop figural form of a young girl holding a large globe at the top, which would have held the kerosene and lighter. It includes the original lid, and is mounted to a small marble base. CONDITION: The lighter shows great aged patina to the bronze casting, with some areas of patina loss to the lighter cover, but with a great aged look.
