This cast iron match dispenser advertises Chancellor Cigars by the Winecke & Doerr Makers. There is heavily embossed advertising to the base. The tree trunk-type rise, when depressed it will nip your cigar and pickup a match in the bottom. A great piece of an early cast iron cigar advertising. CONDITION: It has great relief to the advertising on the base, showing a working cigar cutter with a great aged patina. There are no breaks, cracks or chips.
