This is a wonderful pair of gothic cast bronze match holders. (A) A match holder in the form of a devil or goblin, marked for the N. Muller Company out of New York, with the serial and casting number N439. This is a 3D casting match holder with match striker that would have hung on the wall. CONDITION: There are no breaks, cracks or repairs, with a great aged bronze patina. (B) A small desktop match holder in the form of a devil or goblin holding a cauldron that would have held the matches. CONDITION: The holder has a great aged patina to the cast bronze with great attention to detail to the figural form.
