This is a pair of smoking accessories. (A) A cast bronze monkey with two baskets for matches, generally one for unused and other for used matches, as well as a big basket behind for small-sized cigars. CONDITION: The polychrome paint retains about 50% of its finish, with light oxidation and surface rust to the underneath. (B) A cast bronze showing a young boy with a swan. The swan is the lighter, and the young boy's head is removable to become the wick to light the cigar from the swan. The boy is also holding two prongs, where the cigar would rest on the desktop. CONDITION: A great aged patina with no breaks, cracks or repairs.
