A very nice example of an early shocking device, primarily as a quackery device for early doctors at the turn-of-the-century. It is made by the Ogden & Company in Chicago, Illinois. It is working on dry cell batteries. It is in an oak case with an original paper dial, clearly marked with instructions and the fact that electricity can cure a whole host of diseases. CONDITION: It has a refinished cabinet, original dial, paper labels and handles. It would require new dry cell batteries to work.
