1931. Prototype Slim Grandchild with dangling legs, all cloth with hand-painted molded mask face, brown painted eyes, blonde human hair wig; pink cloth body with dangling legs; replaced black velvet pants and knit sweater, leather shoes. (Light crazing on face, possible touchup on nose). Sweet one, all ready to display.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Provenance: Given to Regina Faust by Kathe Kruse. Faust developed a friendship with Kruse as an editor of a German knitting magazine that collaborated with Kruse to design knitting patterns for her dolls.
CORRECTION: This lot is a prototype Slim Grandchild, not a Hampelchen as previously described. The estimate has been adjusted to more accurately reflect the lot.
