Shoulder head incised “172 6” made by J.D. Kestner, his famous “Gibson Girl” based on the drawings of Charles Dana Gibson, with long neck, up-tilted chin, patrician nose, multi-stroked eyebrows, sleeping eyes (no upper lashes), painted lower lashes, closed mouth with lip shading stroke, plaster pate, original blonde mohair wig; original rivet-jointed kid body (soil, wear) with bisque lower arms; redressed with antique black leather heeled shoes.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Lot is also redressed in Edwardian period lace.
