The first is a celluloid, wind up, Crying African American Child, Japan. Works with off-set weight to cause movement, dent on one foot, very good to excellent, 4-1/2". The second is a tin and celluloid, wind up "Sambo" the Minstrel Man, Occupied Japan, Alps. When wound, Sambo strums guitar, moves head and plinking sound simulates music from inside the tree trunk, works, near mint, 8". Includes original box, one end flap torn and a small tear in the face panel, excellent.
