Early 20th century. France. The three pieces comprise a wardrobe suitcase, a small overnight case, and a suitcase of standard shape and form. All three leather bound with brass rivets and corners. All with operational latches and locks. The small wardrobe suitcase is missing its leather handle. The first, a small wardrobe suitcase with intact label inscribed with Champs-Elysees, Paris, Bond Street, London, and Cannes locations. Opening from one end and along the hinged side, it is fitted with wooden hangers on frame. The hinged side with three open fabric lined compartments and with original Louis Vuitton fabric cover and cinch belts. The lock is numbered "07436". All latches and locks are functional. No key present. The second is a square overnight case with hinged lid and original label with serial number "816145". The label is with Paris, London, Nice, and Vichy locations. The case retains two original keys for the locks and original woven tray and fabric side panels. The lock is numbered "H9". The third, a suitcase with leather handle, and original label with serial number "802687" with original key and with Paris, London, Nice, Cannes and Vichy addresses. The lock is unnumbered. All three have original Louis Vuitton overall pattern canvas surfaces which are in very good condition, age-appropriate darkening and patina and no abrasions. Brass rivets, locks, and latches are all intact and in good condition. The leather bindings and brass corners are all in very good condition and all present. There is only minor in-use wear overall.
