This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/17/2017
The first is a china shoulder head which is commonly referred to as a “Princess Dagmar” . The second china head has a flat base, a slot on the top and possibly was a child’s bank for coins and represents an older woman with a molded bonnet. The smaller of the two bisque heads is a laughing boy with holes all through the molded hair, possibly a toothpick holder or for use with hat pins. The larger of the bisque heads also has a solid flat base and represents a child laughing, crying and grimacing. All three heads are also framed to represent a cloth bonnet. On the top of the head is a large opening with a silk covered insert, perhaps having been used as a pin cushion. The tallest, the three faced figure is 3” tall and the smallest, the older lady with the bank coin slot is 2” tall. Overall condition is very good.
