19th Century Group of dolls from a series in which Mrs. Thompson would show the changing faces and fashions of the period using fashion prints. Beautifully modeled man with bisque shoulder head featuring molded brown hair, incised eyes and mustache, original clothing of authentic design. Young lady with bisque shoulder head signed “MDT,” brown mohair wig, elegant face, aqua silk dress with some fabric loss, exceptionally detailed molded blue and black boots. Another lady with bisque shoulder head signed “MDT,” and mohair wig, beautifully dressed in pink and white silk. All dolls with cloth bodies and bisque lower limbs. All under a glass dome. In overall excellent condition except dress as noted.
