French bisque socket head incised “Mascotte 1” (totally repaired across the forehead) by May Frères Cie. with dark long multistroked eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, large blue paperweight eyes, pink eyeshadow, closed mouth with lip shading, pierced ears, cork pate, brown antique human hair wig; original French composition and wood body with original finish (some wear at joints, soil, stringing loose); exquisite cream lace dress and jacket said to have been once worn by H.R.H. the late Queen Mary of England as a child, with Jumeau shoes and stockings. Stunning doll!
