Pre-Prohibition. The National Distilling Co - Milwaukee, WI. Incredibly rare self framed tin lithograph sign for Posthoorn Gin - Ruby Sloe Gin - Mistletoe Gin. Beautiful semi-nude scene of goddess like women in a sheer see through negligee standing under the mistletoe. Simple and elegant graphics. Strong vibrant colors and paint. Has some light scratches mostly to the woodgrain frame and some paint lose into the gold outer frame on corners and middle area. Scuffing to the left of the women by elbow in the black. Scratch to the right of "GIN" near her left knee. One very small ping to the right of mistletoe in the black. Back is clean with wear from use. Manufactured by the Chas W. Shonk Co. Litho Chicago No 3167 marked in lower right corner.
