Lot #2496:
M.C.R.R. NO. 39 C.T. HAM BRASS TOP BELL BOTTOM RAILROAD LANTERN.
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/9/2020
This is Ham's No. 39 double guard model, probably made for the Maine Central RR, as it has a glass fount with No. 1 functioning ratchet burner. The No. 39 extended base cobalt blue globe is a spectacular example with "MCRR" nicely embossed in a recessed rectangular panel. The frame is straight and tight; base fits snugly. Scale rating is 9.
Condition: (Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 11" x 6 - 1/2" x 6 - 1/2".
