An interesting theater made fighting knife that was crafted by a New Zealand soldier. The knife features a steel bowie style blade with a small clip point. Hilt is of aluminum and plexiglass. The tang exhibits Kanji and was most likely crafted using captured Japanese materials that were salvaged from a wrecked vehicle. Coffin style pommel with shell decoration on left side and New Zealand coin at top. Complete with theater made scabbard with belt loop and plexiglass fittings. The front of the scabbard is decorated with a theater made New Zealand "Onward" cap badge that is constructed of aluminum. Knife and scabbard exhibit light wear throughout as to be expected from a theater made piece. CONDITION: Good.
