DSP. Sign is Dated 1947 with Ink Stamp, "Made In The USA." Incredible condition and highly sought after Texaco Marine Motor Oils Porcelain Rack Sign showing iconic Ocean Boat scene with Gull graphics at the topside. CONDITION: Side one is overall outanding showing immaculate color & gloss throughout the field with no notable field wear. Side one shows only one faint nick along the bottom edge as well as one very small nick at the left mounting hole, Grade 9.25+. Side two also shows incredible color & gloss throughout showing an excellent graphic scene with no notable field wear. Side two shows one minor nick near the upper edge in the green as well as some small nick at the upper outer edge near the mounting hole. The remaining outer edge is brilliant and the piece displays excellent, Grade 8.9+. An incredibly bright and outstanding example of this graphic and highly sought after sign from Texaco.
