AGS CERTIFIED #10606 & 10607. DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co. A rare and well displaying example of this Porcelain Neon Sign from Oldsmobile showing bold Oldsmobile script with Porcelain Rocket attachment on each side. Sign shows bright blue neon on each side as well as flashing red neon around the rocket. CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing bright color & gloss throughout with two areas of field chipping as well as some minimal surface wear. Side one shows heavy chipping at the rocket wing an nose as well as light nicks at the outer edge but overall well displaying, (Score 87). Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout with only one chip in the field as well as some minor surface scratching. Side two shows some minor edge chipping at the lower with heavier chipping at the wing of the rocket along the upper edge, (Score 84). Sign is mounted on a newly made metal can which displays the signs very well. An excellent displaying example.
