Description
Muhlenfeld was a prominent painter of the Chesapeake Bay area. Based in Baltimore, he was commissioned to do ship portraits by both captains and owners. His works are rare and sought after.

Condition
Canvas is relined. Inpaint scattered throughout. Framed in original period frame. Some age-related wear to the frame and signs of repairs.
