DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co., Detroit. An incredibly clean as well as bright and glossy example of this iconic Porcelain Sign from Buick Automobiles advertising "Valve In Head Authorized Service" Sign features iconic Buick script throughout each side with bright and glossy red, white & blue porcelain colors. CONDITION: Side one is simply outstanding showing brilliant color & gloss throughout the field showing no chipping with bold script. Side one shows only a few minimal surface scratches from storage with all four original grommets present. The outer edge of side one shows only a couple of very minimal nicks and overall is near impossible to improve upon, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also brilliant and stunning showing incredible color & gloss throughout the field with no areas of wear in the inner field showing bright color and excellent script. Side two shows only a few minor areas of surface scratching from storage as well as two very small nicks near the "C" of Service. The outer edge of side two is also brilliant showing only a couple of minimal areas of light nicks. A brilliant example overall, one of the finest known examples of this iconic piece from Buick Automobiles.
