SSP. Sign is maker-marked Texlite. An outstanding displaying example of this rare c. 1940's porcelain service station sign from Husky gasoline showing die-cut Husky dog with uniquely colored orange Husky lettering varying in color from more common examples which are white. Sign is four pieces mounted together showing a cookie cutter edge. CONDITION: Sign is in overall outstanding condition throughout showing excellent color & gloss with a beautiful detailed Husky dog graphic. Sign shows two minor chips in the dog's face as well as minor chipping in the front feet near the paws. The outer edges shows some very minimal wear, but overall excellent. The Husky lettering is in outstanding condition throughout showing excellent color & gloss with no notable wear. The lower portion shows some very minimal edgewear, but overall the piece is outstanding. An outstanding displaying piece of rare porcelain advertising from Husky gasoline.
